Help your child come up with a positive mantra that they can say to themselves whenever they are feeling anxious and need a boost of confidence. This isn't a quick fix. It's something that will help them to get used to telling themselves something positive, opposed to telling themselves something negative. If they can use a positive mantra to help them replace a negative thought they tell themselves, it can really help them to improve their ability to think and speak more positively to themselves and others!

I am a good person.
I am a fun person to be around.
I am a good friend.
I have people that care about me.
I will be confident.
I am in charge of my own happiness.
